READY TO GO

img_Sep_03_2008_42_52 You saw Mommy rolling my hair the other night so then you just had to try it too. To my surprise you liked getting pampered and even let me put like a thousand bobby pins in your hair for an up-do. It was precious.

My Little Helper

img_Oct_22_2008_50_29img_Oct_22_2008_50_51 Bailey you are such a little princess. You love girly girl stuff still. You are such a sweet little nurturer and wonderful big sister. Your favorite thing to do is play with your baby dolls. You always seem to have one or two or three doing something similar to what your sissy is doing. You give them baths, feed, play, change, make believe play, it is just too sweet to watch. You also love your brother. You look up to him a lot and try to do lots of things like him. You aren't much on scary things though. You love slides but other than that you don't want much to do with thrill seeking adventure like your brother does. You love to shop and run errands with Mommy. You are a Daddy's Girl but have to have your Momma. You love clothes. You change clothes like four or five times a day...crazy!! You also are starting to get a little interested in the potty so I'm hoping to start that process soon. You favorite thing to watch right now is Wiggles Rockin Santa...yes Christmas has started early in our home. You still don't eat much. You love nuggets, yogurt, ice cream, milk, juice, dried fruit, bananas, gold fish, chips, pretzels, and that is about it. You get giddy about sweets and candy. You love music and to have dance parties with bubba. You also enjoy playing outside. You do great at entertaining yourself and love to play with your sister already. You hate getting your hair washed and anything that looks like it might be scary. You love to play dress up and to play in my make up. You stay at home with Mommy every day and have become quite the little helper. You do go with Mommy to bible study at church on Tuesdays and love your class there. It is from 9-11:30 and your brother and sister go too. You tell me that your favorite part is outside time and music. You are very sneaky when it comes to getting into things..you love to explore...especially Mommy's stuff. You love to have your back scratched and for Mommy to sing to you before you go to bed. I'm so proud of you baby girl.

Day two

Miss Bailey is on day two of potty training and I swear it is going way too good so I'm ready for a set back at any moment. It's not suppose to be this easy. When I woke up yesterday I didn't plan on throwing all her diapers away but after I changed her when she woke up, I got distracted w/Brooklyn before putting on another diaper. Then Bailey came out of her bathroom and said "Mommy I went poo poo in the potty" Of course I said "u did what?" Sure enough she did so then I told her we were going to wear big girl panties and that now she didn't need diapers anymore. She said "no Mommy I want diapers." So i thought to myself, when a two year old can tell you they went to the bathroom w/out being asked to go and knew not to do it in the floor and then was smart enough to say they wanted to be in diapers...here is my sign..lol!So we did just that..threw all the diapers away..really just pretended and then put them were Brooklyn's go since they wear the same size! I told her to stay dry and she "k Mommy". Then all day she didn't have one accident. I never once had to put her on the potty which blew me away. She would either go in by herself and do it or would do it and then tell me to help her wash her hands or wipe if she did #2. So Miss Bailey..you did #2 in the potty three times yesterday and once today. You also took a nap today for three hours and slept in your panties and to my amazement woke up dry and went to the potty before doing anything else. Now with all of that said you have asked me at least three times if you can wear a diaper again like Brooklyn. I guess u r smart enough to know that this means u don't have to slow down and stop what u r doing but I think secertly u love the fact of being so independant. Your face beams with pride everytime. I really thought yesterday maybe was a fluke but today u did great as well. So you are officially done with diapers and in big girl panties. I guess this just goes to show when u r ready your ready. You won't let me help u get your panties off or on..it is precious. I'm proud of u big girl..you are one smart cookie!! Let me also add u hate to have wet stuff on u or when u went #2 u wanted your diaper off so I think this helps so much and gives u incentive to make it to the potty before letting it touch u. Who would have ever thought it could be this easy..I'm just glad u weren't my first born or I would have had been lost and calling for back-up assitance..lol. Now I just want to remind all of my fellow mommies out there that this was not the case of my Jackson..it took lots of work, practice, patience, setting him on the potty, and he still needs a pull up at night so I know just how lucky I am with the first few days and am prepared for set backs. I think when u have three little ones this close together God just knows Mommies need breaks every now and then too.

Still Goin Strong

Just thought I would report that Miss Bailey is still doing wonderful w/the potty. She is still goin all by herself most of the time and gets the biggest kick out of public restrooms and washing her hands. So exciting for Mommy to only have one in diapers now. I was worried that she would have a set back since I went out of town last week but so far so good. Way to Go Bailey!!

Spring is Here

img_Apr_09_2009_04_46img_Apr_09_2009_05_04img_Apr_09_2009_05_41img_Apr_09_2009_06_20img_Apr_09_2009_09_50img_Apr_09_2009_10_57img_Apr_09_2009_12_00img_Apr_09_2009_12_24 So this week every time Brooklyn sees a duck she starts quacking. It is the cutest thing ever. Now if we say what does a duck say, she quacks on cue. She also says "HoT" every time I put warm food in front of her or if she sees me getting something out of the microwave or oven. Then she blows her food. Just precious how she tries to blow. She also says bite, bubba, dadda, tries to say puppy, duck, nana(milk), nene(pacificer), and when she is hungry she smacks her lips and says "ummmm, ummm". She started about a month ago or so playing with dolls, little people, doll houses, etc. She will even put the figures in the house and sit in front of it forever. I don't remember the others doing this so early. I say this all the time but it truly is amazing how extremely different all three of our babies are. Same mom and dad but it is such a different mix. All so unique and special in their own way. Yesterday Bailey said she wanted to go to snake hill. This is a tradition I started with Jacks when she was a baby. It is a street by the Old Mill that they love to go on. A long downhill curvy road, roll down the windows, scream like we are on a roller coaster, and I yell for them to get their hands up. I bet passer buyers think your Momma is crazy, but anything for a little excitement never hurts. Now when Brooklyn knows we are getting close she starts squealing and kicking her legs. So I had just the girls yesterday with me and we saw some ducks inside the old mill and I knew Brooklyn would have be in heaven to see them. Then Of course I couldn't resist taking some pics. Bailey dressed herself in the dress I brought back for her to play dress up in when I was in Cancun. She loves it and asks to wear it all the time and of course the one day she is out of the house in it, we have the most beautiful setting in the world for pics. Jackson was at his Easter Party at MDO. He still picks out his clothes every night before going to bed and decided he needed to dress up for school since it was about Jesus. Here is a pic of him. He was so excited! He is counting down the days til Easter, almost as bad a his birthday. I'm guessing all holidays from here on at are going to be so much fun. Josh and I get to be kids a little longer at least anyways! Here are the pics I took yesterday.

Bailey's 3

img_Jun_01_2009_04_28img_Jun_01_2009_05_39img_Jun_01_2009_06_12img_Jun_01_2009_07_22img_Jun_01_2009_11_14 We had a special Birthday party for Bailey on Saturday. She loves to play dress up so we decided on a teddy bear tea with all her little friends. It was at oogles and googles and was just perfect for her. Her Aunt Steph did her cake and I must say it was TDF and put a big smile on your face. When I asked you what the favorite part was about your party you said "my cake". Too precious. You guys made a teddy bear, got to sing songs and dance, told a teddy bear story, dressed up, make-up for the girls, Teddy Bear Hunt, and then Tea with Teddy. Then it was time for cake and presents. Then yesterday, Sunday, was your Birthday. First church, out to eat, and then we took you, Jacks, Savanna, Luke, and Rain to Wild River Country. This was your idea and you loved it. We have a season pass there this year so I'm sure we will be going lots. Last night you opened your present from Mommy and Daddy. We got you twin American Girl Itty Bitty Toddlers with Blonde hair and blue eyes. One is a boy, u named him Luke, and the other a girl, Savanna. You haven't put them down today. Thanks to everyone that helped make her Birthday one of those memory makers that will probably stick and always be special to her. Can't believe my Bailey Grace is now three!

Bailey's 3yr pics

img_Jul_24_2009_08_35 Bailey, you loved getting her pics made. It has been a while and since u had your black eye on your bday we decided to let u get back in your bday outfit and have tea in the park. To my surprise u loved every second of having your pics made. Sometimes u tend to be shy in a new setting but not this time. You ask me almost everyday if we can go there again and do it all over. You can tell from the proofs u loved it. Miss Bailey u look so grown up with your new hair cut. Mommy loves getting to spend one on one with you..especially times like these that I will never forget. So glad we have so many pics to document this sweet and special stage. Bailey Grace Momma is sad right now. Just missing our Nanny. Next week is her bday and when I looked at these today i coudln't help but think of how happy she would be to see the sweet little girl you have become. You were such a baby...only 21 months when she passed and you were such a Nanny's girl. I want you to remember but in a way I'm glad for your lack of understanding. One day you will know more about why you are named Bailey but for now just know that you are named after two of the most amazing people that loved you so very much. It is neat to think of them every time I say your name and I will never forget Nanny smilin ear to ear when I told her what we decided to name you. Although she loved the named Brooklyn because that is what is was between I can tell it made her day. Then when #3 was born and it was a girl and we used Brooklyn for your little sister Nanny was thrilled. She got both of her fav girl names in the mix. Grace is your Nanny's mom's middle name. I would do anything in the entire world for her to see you at this precious stage of 3. She would eat you up and give you plenty of lessons on how to not let a big bro pick on you. She was one of 11 so she had plenty of experience. So you were on the porch when we pulled up from San Diego. You just looked probably more excited than I had ever seen before. I love you Bailey Grace. You are everyone's girl..that is for sure. Okay going to go back to sleep now while I can! Here is a link to your pics. They will only be up til Wed.the 29th.
Also ck out Miss Bailey's teddy bear tea party in Savvy Kids magazine July 09 issue. They featured her Bday party and put some really cute pics of the party in there. Her face when she saw it for the first time was pure shock. So was Jackson's. Very very cute.
